The Club's back lounge refurbishment...... is now well underway, major changes are taking place with a total face lift consisting of new high quality slate tiled floor and a brand new toilet suite including tiled walls, WHB and accessories all sponsored by Matt & Marcus Elwell owners of 'Anglo Italian Tile Co Ltd' of Wythall.
......Nigel Jones is in control of all the changes to the lounge / bar decor and furnishings, bringing his professional touch to the project and he is working closely with Toby Smith and Ken Moore, all with visions of a high quality, practical facilty at Woodrush......hopefully these significant changes will be completed within the next two or three months, so a big Thank You to all those involved with this projrect and in their continuing support in the ongoing development at Woodrush.

We are also continuing with the alternative payment method which was introduced last season by which players can opt for a standing order payment each month of just £12.00, that covers the above membership fee of £40.00 plus those weekly match fees. This is a very good option to resolve the somewhat difficult task of collecting those match fees every week..... please contact Buckers for your standing order form.
Whatever you can afford to pay towards your membership please speak to Mark as we are keen to offer you any alternative that will suit your finances in these difficult times.
'Sky Sports' now installed at Woodrush..... Part of our ongoing improvements include the installation of 'SKY ULTIMATE'... we are taking advantage of a new deal between The RFU and Sky which is to encourage rugby clubs to present Sky sports channels etc into their clubs at a competitve cost.
This deal comprise of all Sky Sports channels and includes Satanta channels 1 and 2 plus Satanta golf, there are also a number of other sports channels that will be available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to further the use of our club for its members so look out for forthcoming Sport attractions at Woodrush.
International quality.........Woodrush can boast of having not just one international rugby player, but two....Matt Cox as we all know represented England at U18s, U19s, U20s and now U21s was our first international and he is now joined by Ed Lerna who recently represented Italy against Germany and Czeckeslovakia in a European rugby league competition.... well done boys
