Ken Moore owner of KFM and a regular around the club is continuing in his support in the development of Woodrush
Thank you Ken and long may it continue..................

As from Monday 6th June Toby will be looking after of the club bar, taking over from Bob Hooper. Toby is keen to improve the bar usage and turnover especially at a time where monies are becoming more and more difficult to procure.
I would like to thank Bob for all his efforts over the past seven years and also wish Toby lots of luck for the coming season and hope all of our members support him in this challenging post....well done and thank you Toby.

Although Tim was offered a role at Woodrush as Senior forwards coach he feels the challenge at Moseley with their youth section is more to his liking. However he is still happy to help out with our U11s for the coming season.
For all our fixtures and league structure for the coming season see Senior and Mini-Junior pages.

CHAMPIOOOOOONS,,,, Finally both our 1sts and our 2nds were confirmed as league champions after two superb wins on a sun soaked afternoon down at Upton upon Severn......all in front of a fine crowd of Woodrush supporters making sure their sides came home with the honours.

The title of Champions of Mids 5 West (south) is now ours after a fine 10 v 27 victory against an Upton side not willing to roll over and it was points scoring machine Steve Smart that clinched the match with a fine try deep into the second period taking his tally to 17 on the day and 241 for the season, Two earlier tries from our forwards Alfie Beard and Rob Hill set the way for this fine win finishing the league season with 16 wins out of the 18 games played ....This result was a climax to a superb season of fast, powerful and entertaining rugby in our 40th anniversary year and must be seen as one of the best seasons of all time.
......Jeff Landucci's 2nd team were also a major part of the days celebrations when they completed their season undefeated in league rugby with a determined battle notching up a 34 v 39 win over Upton 2nds who managed to replace ten of their side in the second period, bringing the second half to a nail biting climax. They now are now Champions of the Hereford & Worcester Merit Table Div. 3 in a first ever for Woodrush with our 2nds playing competitive league rugby.
The day was full of passion and fight dominated by the swealtering conditions that certainlty took it toll with everyone exhausted at the final whistle. However fatigue was soon replaced with elation and the champagne celebrations continued into the early hours of Sunday morning back at Woodrush....
......Well done to all our players and supporters this season where everyone as played their part both home and away making this a momentous occasion for Woodrush rugby club.
